Many of our teachers are very dedicated to serve the needs of the mentally handicapped and have served for many years. Quite a number are also the sole breadwinners for their families and fall in the B40 group. With the substantial cuts in government funding, SAMH has struggled to stay afloat and covering payroll has been a major worry. Thus, SAMH needs financial assistance to help us cover our operational costs.
