The Association has a total of 85 workers with mental handicap in its sheltered workshops.
While we are happy to report that a number of SAMH trainees are successfully employed in the open job market, the majority may have difficulties in doing so. The sheltered workshop bridges this gap and provides a much needed service for the mentally handicapped.
The sheltered workshop will enable them to earn a living with dignity and respect.
