The Latin Ladies Association Of Malaysia (LLAM) is a non-profit organization, whose mission is to promote Latin values and cultures in the Malaysian community, while collaborating with various charitable institutions.

During the last 43 years of existence LLAM has proudly worked to bring assistance, help and joy to those in need, with grants for education, individual counselling, medical support and equipments for those in need.

In the year 2013, the LLAM organized the VI Latin American Charity Ball on 16th November 2013 at Hilton Hotel, KL and successfully raised RM 134,000.00 which was donated to the Association for the purpose of the construction of a new canteen building for Klang Special School. The official opening ceremony of the canteen building was held on 9th October 2014.

Ms. Ana Cristina Rincon, Chairperson of LLAM and Ms. Marcia Soutto Mayor, Social Service Coordinator complimented the Association for the good work carried out. The President and Executive Council members were present at the official opening ceremony of the canteen building.

LLAM also donated an additional sum of RM 2,470.00 for the purchase of a freezer and a display chiller. About 150 children and adults are now able to enjoy the facilities in this new canteen.

On the 11th October 2014, LLAM held its VII Charity Ball at Hilton Hotel in KL. This time there was a record attendance of 570 people and another record was set when the amount raised reached RM144,880.00. We were delighted to know that the Association was again selected as a co-beneficiary of the funds raised in the LLAM’s VII Charity Ball. A official cheque presentation ceremony was held on the 26th January 2015 in Wisma Harapan. Ms. Ana Cristina Rincon presented a cheque for RM 72,440.00 to Y.Bhg.
