Yayasan Rakyat 1Malaysia (Foundation) approved a grant of RM 50,000/- to improve and upgrade the existing vegetable farm in Klang Special School.
This project which commenced in October 2014 was completed in 8 weeks. The upgrading work included the erection of parameter fencing, installation and supply of water sprinklers system and water pump.
The vegetable farm project is now fully operational and is generating some income for the Association.
The students take turns to participate in a variety of activities in the farm including cleaning and packing the vegetables for sale. Mr. T. Ganason, Chairman of the Klang School Committee and the Klang School Committee members are overseeing this project.
